Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a thin polymer electrolyte fuel cell having high catalyst activity while securing high fuel gas permeability, and high power generation efficiency; and to provide a method for manufacturing the electrode for the polymer electrolyte fuel cell and the polymer electrolyte fuel cell. SOLUTION: A baking membrane added with carbon black is obtained by forming a membrane in which fibrous carbons are interwound through binder resin by molding a dispersion prepared by dispersing fibrous carbon, carbon black, and binder resin in an organic solvent in the form of the membrane in a molding process, and drying the dispersion, and then pyrolytically decomposing the organic solvent and the binder resin in a baking process.
