description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measuring apparatus and reduce a burden of an operator and a subject by shortening a time for detecting a maximum voltage value at a receiving signal of the optical measuring apparatus for a living body more than usual. SOLUTION: The intensity of a plurality of optical signals are transformed by different code patterns respectively to irradiate a subject. The optical signal transmitted through the subject is converted to an electric signal. The converted electric signal is amplified by an amplifier. The amplified signal is converted to a digital signal, and then decryption process is performed for separation of the plurality of optical signals corresponding to the code patterns respectively. The amplifier detects one cycle of electric signals corresponding to the length of code pattern at this time, and then the signal level is computerized in the one cycle and amplified to the predetermined voltage value. The code pattern with a certain length is used, and so the signal level can be detected for short time by detecting one cycle corresponding to the code length. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
