WATER-PROOF CAMERA, WATER-PROOF CASE, AND DIGITAL CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lens barrel from becoming large in a size, in a water-proof case for storing a draw-in type digital camera including a photographing lens of high magnification and a large field angle. SOLUTION: A cross key 44 is provided on a backface of the digital camera. A pressing member 70 for holding the cross key 44 in a state of being pressed downward is provided on an inner face 22b of a rear case 22 of the water-proof case. A CPU of the digital camera determines whether the cross key 44 is press-operated downward or not, when an electric power source is switched from an off-state to an on-state according to an operation of an electric power source button. The maximum magnification of the photographing lens is limited from five times to three time when determined to be press-operated, and a lens barrel is drawn out limitedly only to a position corresponding to the magnification of three times between a wide end position and a telescopic end position.
