Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator and a coil excellent in production efficiency and compact in the coil end. SOLUTION: A first conductive wire WA and a second conductive wire WB are formed in a continuous zig-zag pattern, and are overlapped with each other with a displacement of one pitch to form a rectangular group conductive wire W1. A coil basket, around which the group conductive wire W1 is wound in plural circumferential directions, is provided. The group conductive wire W1 has (a) conductive in-slot wire parts W1S overlapped in a slot of a stator core, (b) circumferential conductive wire parts W1EU, W1ED forming the circumference of the slot, and (c) step conductive wire parts WAD, WBD connecting the conductive wire parts W1S in the slot to the circumferential conductive wire parts W1EU, W1ED.
