description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable made of aluminum as a base material wherein corrosion resistance is improved regarding strands of the cable and/or an electric terminal, and a sealing method for the cable including gaps between cable strands. SOLUTION: The cable 10 includes a plurality of cable strands 12, an insulator 14 arranged on a part of the plurality of cable strands 12 so as to at least partially expose the plurality of cable strands 12, and a sealant 18 arranged between the gaps 16 of the plurality of cable strands 12 and at least partially under the insulator 14. Furthermore, a sealing method includes a step of exposing the plurality of cable strands 12 by stripping the insulator 14 from an end of the cable 10, and a step of applying the sealant 18 to the cable strands 12 so that the sealant 18 is drawn under the insulator 14 and fills in gaps 16 between the cable strands 12 by capillary action.
