The packaging-filling apparatus includes a pressure cushioning pressure flange 20 which is installed under the liquid surface and above the lateral sealing position, and is equipped with an aseptic gas cavity area 28 which cushions the movement of the liquid food. Also, the packaging-filling apparatus is equipped with a diagnostic means 50 which detects a propagated vibration by the pinching with the sealing jaw and the counter jaw, and diagnoses the residual amount of the aseptic gas from the vibration.
