AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, determining to start timer operation according to a temperature change in the past several days at the hour of rising, which is one factor in causing bad condition. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes: a temperature detecting means for detecting outside air temperature and room temperature; a storage means for storing the detected temperatures in a memory; a timer control means for periodically acquiring the temperature at a specified time in one day unit; and a computing means for computing a difference in temperature between the temperatures in the past several days and the last temperature from the storage means. At a predetermined time of desired hour set on a timer, the temperature data on the past several days acquired from the computing means is compared with a threshold which is an approximate value obtained by polynomial approximation to control starting of timer operation to predetermined setting.
