SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes steps for laying a material for a metal glass layer 12 on the supporting surface 11f of the base material 11 of the mold having an engagement target 11a composed of a large number of fine irregular shapes, heating the material for the metal glass layer 12 to a temperature of ≥ the glass transition temperature of the metal glass layer 12 and ≤ the crystallization temperature so as to fill concave parts of the fine irregular shapes constituting the engagement target part 11a of the supporting surface 11f with the material for the metal glass layer 12 and then cooling the material for the metal glass layer 12 to room temperature to bring about a state that the metal glass layer 12 is engaged with the base material 11 of the mold so as to bond the metal glass layer 12 and the base material 11 of the mold together in an integrated form, thus constituting the mold 1.
