Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the utilization frequency of a capacitor 2 in a power supply apparatus of a vehicle which is provided with both a secondary battery 1 and the capacitor 2 by quickly recovering the charging voltage of the capacitor 2 which has dropped through self-discharge, or the like. SOLUTION: Between the capacitor 2 and the current path of the secondary battery 1, a discharge interruption switch using a semiconductor switch such as an MOSFET and having a body diode arranged in the direction for interrupting discharge from the capacitor is provided. In series with the discharge interruption switch, a charge interruption switch 6 having a body diode arranged in the direction for interrupting charge of the capacitor 2 and a series connection of a limit charge switch 7 in the same direction as the charge interruption switch 6 and a current limit resistor 8 are connected in parallel. When the capacitor 2 is charged, the charging mode is switched by the potential difference of the capacitor and the secondary battery and the temperature of the capacitor.
