RECORDING MEDIUM AND REPRODUCTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to respond to a new service provided by a content-providing side or the like, and to provide a user-friendly information recording or reproducing technique or recording medium. SOLUTION: Image/sound information, identification information for identifying the image/sound information, and URL information on the image/sound information are recorded in the recording medium. The reproducing technique includes: a reproduction means which reproduces the recording medium in which the image/sound information and the URL information on the image/sound information are recorded; a transmission means which transmits the identification information for identifying the image/sound information recorded in the recording medium to a server having the URL, on the basis of the URL information reproduced by the reproduction means; and a reception means which receives the image/sound information corresponding to the identification information from the server.
