SOLUTION: As this refrigerator includes a door 121 for putting in and taking out food from a freezer compartment 108 as a storage compartment, a container 127 taken to the outside of a refrigerator body 102 when the door 121 is opened, and a refrigerant 150 disposed in the container 127, a refrigerating effect of the refrigerant suppresses an increase in the temperature of frozen food 157 already stored, and the rapid cooling of food 158 put therein after the door 121 is opened or closed.
