MOBILE TERMINAL AND DATA CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to make related information of a selected character string be easily temporarily stored by use of a touch panel input device 24 and to easily practically use the temporarily stored related information. SOLUTION: This mobile terminal 10 includes: an LCD monitor 32; and the touch panel input device 24 installed on the upper face of the LCD monitor 32. Character input keys and a reception mail are displayed on the LCD monitor 32, and the character string of a body in the reception mail is optionally selected by operation to the touch panel input device 24. The related information of the selected character string is temporarily stored associatively to an optional character input key. When touch and slide operation is performed to the body of a transfer mail from the character input key used for the temporary storage, the temporarily stored related information is inserted into the body of the transfer mail.
