CARBONLESS LONG NOZZLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonless long nozzle that can reduce generation of cracks and fractures on lower end of a carbonless long nozzle, in the carbonless long nozzle arranged with a carbonless refractory on the surface of a bore. SOLUTION: In the carbonless long nozzle, a carbonless refractory 4 containing ≤10 mass% of a carbonaceous raw material is arranged on the inner face 1 of a refractory body that contains 15-40 mass% of the carbonaceous raw material. The lower end face 41 of the carbonless refractory is located in the range of 20-100 mm upward from the lower end face 32 of the refractory body. Otherwise, in the lower side with the range of 20-100 mm upward from the lower end face of the refractory body as a starting point, the thickness of the carbonless refractory is reduced. Besides, in the carbonless long nozzle, the lower end face of the carbonless refractory roughly coincides with the lower end face of the refractory body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
