SOLUTION: In this embodiment, a control means 10 executes operation control for controlling the combustion conditions of the internal combustion engine 1 to raise the inlet temperature of the filter 8b following execution reqyirement of the filter cleaning (S1), and in the executing process, when the inlet temperature of the filter 8b is not lower than a threshold value X, it executes fuel supply control to supply fuel components to an exhaust passage 41 for combustion, in combination with the operation control (S3), while, when the operating condition of the internal combustion engine 1 is such that the inlet temperature of the filter 8b is lower than the first threshold value and an exhaust temperature hardly rises, it executes exhaust gas throttling control to throttle an exhaust throttle valve 9 and the fuel supply control in combination with the operation control (S6).
