Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and kit for detecting and quantitatively determining peptide, having an amino acid sequence regarding a megakaryocyte enhancer in ascites of a patient, such as spent peritoneal dialysis fluid. SOLUTION: This method of evaluating the health conditions of the peritoneum of a patient undergoing peritoneal dialysis includes a step of exposing the patient's ascites, to at least one MPF-specific bonding material, in order to measure the MPF level in the serum or ascites. This method and kit are used for monitoring the biological state of the scum backing the patient's enterocele, predicting occurrence of symptom of the scum in another non-symptom patient, and evaluating the danger and compatibility of treatment.
