Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal powder-containing plastic having a glossy surface and excellent in quality, in which metal polishing waste such as cutting tool polishing waste and sewage-treatment sludge can be effectively used; and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The metal powder-containing plastic includes a molded product in which 60-80 mass% of cutting tool polishing waste or metal powder containing tungsten powder, 1-10 mass% of dried sewage-treatment sludge containing silicate powder and alumina powder, and 10-30 mass% of a thermoplastic resin are mixed in a state where the thermoplastic resin is molten. The cutting tool polishing waste contains 20 mass% or more of tungsten powder, and the thermoplastic resin includes polyethylene. The metal powder includes iron oxide and magnetite.
