Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for maintaining high image quality of a liquid crystal display (LCD) device provided with an optical member having a temperature characteristic. SOLUTION: The LCD device includes: an LCD panel 111 with red, green and blue color filters; LED121R, LED121G and LED121B for emitting red, green and blue light beam respectively; an RGB detection sensor for detecting a light amount of a light beam emitted on the LCD panel 111; a temperature sensor 122T for detecting a temperature of the device; a memory for storing an optical characteristic from each LED to an image perception face of the LCD panel 111, and the temperature of the device at production time; and a circuit section 20 for controlling a light amount of a light beam from each LED based on each detection signal from an RGB detection sensor 122S and the optical characteristic stored in the memory and the temperature of the device in production time.
