PERSONAL INFORMATION STORAGE AND AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, AND PERSONAL INFORMATION STORAGE AND AUTHENTICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal information storage and authentication system which certifies authenticity of personal information of a registered user, thereby preventing unauthorized authentication and ensuring strong security. SOLUTION: The system includes: a client management server 1 of a fixed communication service provider in which subscriber information on users of a fixed communication line is stored; a client management server 2 of a mobile communication service provider in which subscriber information on users of a mobile communication line is stored; a home terminal 3 connected to the client management servers 1 and 2 through a fixed network 5; a mobile terminal 6 owned by the user 4 and connected to the client management server 2 through a mobile network 7; and a personal information data base 30. In the system, the personal information registered in the data base 30 is collated with the subscriber information in the client management servers 1 and 2 to certify authenticity of the registered personal information, and in response to a request for connection from the mobile terminal 6 to the home terminal 3, authentication is performed not only by using a password but also by using the mobile and fixed communication lines.
