Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pump forcibly recovering lubricating oil stored in a tappet to a cam chamber of a pump housing. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection pump 1, the tappet 12 is mounted in a lower part of a plunger 7, a cam 6 is arranged to abut on a lower surface of the tappet 12, and fuel oil is forcibly fed by reciprocating the plunger 7 by rotating the cam 6. The pump housing 2 for storing the tappet 12 is provided with an injection hole 51.
