APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING IMAGE PRINTING AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING INK LIQUID DROPLET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer head of a simple structure which enables drawing of a high-resolution image onto various materials with various ink, and has reduced energy and power request; and to provide a printer of a simple structure. SOLUTION: A printing apparatus 42 includes the printer head 12 operable in a first state for forming liquid droplets with a first volume which move along a course X, and in a second state for forming many liquid droplets with other volumes which move along the same course X. A liquid droplet deflector system 40 gives a force 46 to the liquid droplets moving along the course X. The force 46 is given so that the liquid droplets with the first volume diverge from the course X and the many liquid droplets with the other volumes keep moving substantially along the course X or slightly diverge to start moving along a gutter path.
