Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection image display device achieving a new application method, wherein a projected image and a user are combined by utilizing the projection image display device having a reduced distance between the projection image display device and a projection screen. SOLUTION: The projection image display device 100 has a case 400 containing an image light generation section 200 and a projection optical system 300. The projection optical system 300 has a reflective mirror 320. The image light generation section 200 has an image control section 254 which controls images displayed on the projection screen 210 based on the basic information including at least user information.
