description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying body and an image forming device using this conveying body, capable of attracting and peeling off a recording medium by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: One end portion of a through-hole 94 of a drum 84 is blocked by a blocking member 96, and a suction member 100 and a blowout member 112 are provided at other end portion of the through-hole 94. Thus, a suction pump 108 is operated, and suction force is generated in the through-hole 94 via a suction port 106 of the suction member 100, and thereby, the suction force is made to act on a long groove 92 of an outer peripheral surface of the drum 84 via the through-hole 94, and paper can be reliably attracted to the outer peripheral surface of the drum 84. Because air is blown out of the blowout member 112 by operation of the suction pump 108, a leading end portion of the paper can be reliably peeled off from the outer peripheral surface of the drum 84. The paper can be attracted and peeled off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
