In the method, a planar plate having one or more holes penetrating in the thickness direction is prepared and fixing rolls prior to baking are arranged to stand on the planar plate such that the hollow parts of the core bars of the fixing rolls prior to baking are positioned on the all holes of the plate and that hot air passes through the holes of the planar plate and through the hollow parts of the core bars while the planar plate prevents the hot air from being directly blown to the surfaces of the fixing rolls prior to baking.
