VEGETABLE AND FRUIT SORTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable and fruit sorting apparatus capable of making a determination of exact quality. SOLUTION: In the vegetables and fruits 10 sorting apparatus 1, vegetables and fruits 10 placed on hollow parts 24 formed by a pair of left bucket forming member 22 and right bucket forming member 23 are conveyed, light applied to a vertical direction for the vegetables and fruits 10 by a projection means 50 is measured by a light receiving means 60, thereby, the quality of the vegetables and fruits 10 is determined and, by rotating respective one ends of the left bucket forming member 22 and right bucket forming member 23 facing each other downward, the sorting of the vegetables and fruits 10 is performed, wherein a void part 25 is disposed on the center part of the hollow part 24.
