While the electric motor 25 is being started, a dust state is determined based on the detection result of the dust detecting section 43, so as to control the electric machine 25, on the basis of the determination result. Consequently, control is performed with respect to the rotation of the agitator 3 according to the dust suction state, thereby providing the compact, lightweight, and convenient suction tool for the vacuum cleaner with dust collection power.
