The device comprises a centrifugal weight provided on the inner peripheral face of an clutch outer 60 on the outer periphery of a driving plate 23 driven by the input shaft 20 and journaled to the driving plate 23 in a friction-engageable manner. The centrifugal weight is composed of a main weight 31 journaled 30 to the driving plate 23 so as to be turnable, and a sub weight 41 journaled 30 to the driving plate 23 so as to be turnable. The sub weight 41 gives a force to the main weight 31 to push the main weight 31 against the clutch outer 60 in rotation.
