description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater unit which can surely keep a mutual contact area of an exothermic element and a tube without attracting a cost increase, even if the number of lamination steps in a heater core element is increased. SOLUTION: In the electric heater unit H/U1, the heater core element 5 has a discharging fins 7, 8 fixed with a tube 6 in which a PTC element 12 which generates heat by an electric conduction is inserted, and an outer circumference in a four directions of up and down/right and left of a multi-stepped lamination core composed of a lamination of a plurality of the heater core elements 5 is held by a front housing 1, an end housing 2, an upper end plate 3, and a lower end plate 4. In the multi-layered lamination core, an element gap t is set up between the heater core element 5 and the heater core element 5 neighboring in a lamination direction, and a wave-shaped spring 11 is arranged in a position of the element gap t for adding an elastic force in a direction for expanding the element gap t.
