SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the control rod for a nuclear reactor comprises: an integration process for closely contacting and integrating a cladding tube plating tool, having substantially the same outside diameter of the cladding tube of the control rod as for a nuclear reactor and an end plug plating tool, having substantially the same outer diameter of the end plug of the control rod for a nuclear reactor to the end face of the aperture of the cladding tube and a cladding tube joint face of the end plug, respectively; a plating process for forming a plating layer, by immersing into a plating liquid with the cladding tube plating tool which is located on the integrated cladding tube so that the contact part is under the liquid level of the plating liquid, and for forming a plating layer immersing the integrated end plug into the plating liquid; a separation process for separating the cladding tube and end plug, each having the plating layer formed on the circumference from the respective plating tools; and a welding process for welding the separated cladding tube and end plug facing to abut against one another.
