DISK PLAYBACK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user convenience by determining whether or not contents are reproduced by another player using stored data of a nonvolatile memory even when no optical disk is set. SOLUTION: The disk playback device is provided with: a reading means for reading recorded data recorded in an optical disk; a data obtaining means for obtaining related contents of the optical disk from a storage located in another place when an optical disk is set in the reading means; a nonvolatile memory for storing the related contents obtained from the data obtaining means; a copy control information generation means for generating copy control information indicating whether or not copying of stored data including data generated based on the related contents stored in the nonvolatile memory or recorded data; and a copy control information storage means for storing the generated copy control information.
