Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for promoting the proliferation of fungi, to provide a culture medium containing the same, and to provide a method for promoting the proliferation of fungi. SOLUTION: This composition for promoting the proliferation of the fungi such as Aspergillus or genus Candida contains a β-glucan such as curdlan, laminarin, carboxymethylated curdlan or a low molecular curdlan (β-1,3-glucanase hydrolysate of curdlan), or a derivative thereof in a culture medium.
