Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactive vessel capable of effectively suppressing contamination of a high melting-point metal caused by impure metals present in the reactive vessel for manufacturing a high melting-point metal and also provide a method of manufacturing a high melting-point metal using the reactive vessel. SOLUTION: In the reactive vessel for manufacturing a high melting-point metal by reducing a chloride of a high melting-point metal, an alloy layer composed of a metal same as the high melting-point metal to be manufactured and a metal constituting the reactive vessel is formed on the interior wall surface of the reactive vessel. Further, the chloride of the high melting-point metal is introduced into the reactive vessel for manufacturing the high melting-point metal and the metal chloride is reduced.
