SOLUTION: Job-continuable image forming apparatus are selected in response to the generation of an error causing job interruption on the basis of a table indicating function existence and function execution availability of each of a plurality of other image forming apparatus and apparatus selection priority order corresponding to an error handle instruction of the user ID of the job (S23), and whether each of the selected image forming apparatus is in a ready state is inquired (S24). When an apparatus determination mode is an automatic mode, the image forming apparatus of the highest apparatus selection priority order out of the ready-state image forming apparatus is determined as an image forming apparatus for continuing the job (S26). When the apparatus determination mode is a manual mode, the arrangement order of image forming apparatus candidates for continuing the job on an operation panel is determined on the basis of the apparatus selection priority order, and a background color of icons corresponding to ready-state candidates is made different from a background color of icons corresponding to not-ready-state candidates (S27).
