description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight which is a compact vehicular headlight, in which a plurality of projection-type light source units are housed inside a lamp room, and dark zones Dza, b, c that appear in a light distribution pattern for a high beam of respective projection-type light source units are inconspicuous at the high-beam made of the headlights. SOLUTION: A plurality of light source units in which a light-emitting element is used as the light source are housed in the lamp chamber, and the light distribution of the headlight is constituted by compositing the light distribution pattern of respective light source units 10A, B, C. Respective light source units 10A, B, C have a structure such that the light-emitting elements 14a, b and reflectors 16a, b are respectively installed at the top and bottom of a shade 17, of which its extended tip part is arranged in the vicinity of the rear focus of a projection lens 19, and that the light distribution pattern for a low beam is formed in the top light source unit part 10A1 and an added light distribution pattern for the high beam is formed in the bottom light source unit part 10A2, and in a composited light distribution pattern of the respective light source units 10A, B, C, optical axes La, Lb, Lc of the respective light source units 10A, B, C are shifted vertically so that dark zones Dza, b, c do not overlap.
