Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission for a motor vehicle with a transmission housing, with an electrical actuator for driving the transmission, and with an electrical control device for controlling the actuator. SOLUTION: In a transmission unit, the transmission 200 has a heat sink device 24 thermoconductively connected to the device 28 and a heat insulating layer 20 provided between a housing 12 of the actuator and the heat sink device, the actuator housing being connected to the transmission housing 201 or being part of the transmission housing.
