Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress confined sounds in a vehicle interior caused by vibrations of a dash panel. SOLUTION: A cowl top 22 comprising a cowl top panel 24 and a cowl top front panel 26 is formed by joining a bottom part 30 and a bottom part 36. A standing wall part 38 is formed with a shelf part 52 so as to make a phase of amplitude in the vehicular longitudinal direction a reverse phase to a standing wall part 32 when resonating with the standing wall part 32. A brace 64, with its position in the car-width direction corresponding to an antinode position of the amplitude of the standing wall part 32, is arranged between the standing wall parts 32, 38 along the vehicular longitudinal direction. A standing wall part 38 side of the brace is joined to the shelf part, and a standing wall part 32 side of the same is joined to a position corresponding to a joint position of a vertical wall 50 of the dash panel on a rear wall 44. Accordingly, when the standing wall parts 32, 38 resonate with each other, the amplitude of the dash panel as well as the amplitude of the standing wall part 32 is suppressed by the standing wall part 38 , and the confined sounds in the vehicle interior caused by the vibrations of the dash panel can be suppressed.
