| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video/audio playback apparatus and method thereof in which a stream with a plurality of different processing blocks in one processing unit can be played back without modifying or altering an existent decoding section that has been created without assuming a video/audio stream with a plurality of processing blocks in one processing unit. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a video/audio playback apparatus for decoding and playing back a video/audio stream, including: a reconfiguration means for reconfiguring a packet of the inputted video/audio stream; a decoding means for decoding the video/audio stream of the reconfigured packet from the reconfiguration means; and an output means for outputting decoded video/audio, wherein the reconfiguration means is characterized in that, if a plurality of payloads are contained for each packet of the inputted video/audio stream, one payload for each packet and the packet are reconfigured.
