PARKING LOT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND VEHICLE MOVING DIRECTION DETECTION SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and efficient parking lot management system. SOLUTION: This parking lot management system 21 has: first and second vehicle moving direction detection sensors 22a, 22b provided in ceiling portions above entrances 15a, 15b on one and the other sides of a passage 14 leading to a parking zone 12a including a plurality of garages 13a-13p, detecting a moving direction of a vehicle moving through the entrance 15a, 15b; and a system control part as a calculation means calculating the number of the vehicles in the parking zone 12a from the moving directions of the vehicles detected by the first and second vehicle moving direction detection sensors 22a, 22b.
