SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device 2, the steering torque applied to a steering wheel is detected by a torque sensor, the auxiliary steering torque corresponding to the detected steering torque is generated from an electric motor via a circuit substrate stored in a sensor housing and covered by a sensor housing cover, decelerated by a deceleration mechanism, and transmitted to an output shaft of a steering mechanism. The sensor housing cover 10 is formed of a conductive resin.
