description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost rainwater utilization system having a simple structure which is used for storing rainwater as relatively pure intermediate water from which miscellaneous caught substances such as dead leaves, dust, sand or the like have been easily removed by utilizing the existing gutter, and which is used for reusing rainwater as daily life water and water for emergency. SOLUTION: A rainwater storage tank 1 stores rainwater, which has been obtained from a vertical gutter interconnecting pipe 2 through an inlet A, from an inflow hole of a filter-receiving part C after eliminating the miscellaneous caught substances by a filter part B using a screen. Then the remaining floating dust or the like is eliminated to the gutter through a return port D at the time of full water. Thus, only relatively pure rainwater can be stored as intermediate water. The vertical gutter interconnecting pipe 2 is an interconnecting pipe connected to the vertical gutter which can retain strength of the vertical gutter and which can take some of the load off at the time of execution by integrating a discharge part J and a receiving part K with each other.
