PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of inexpensively reducing the remaining of water in a yoke. SOLUTION: In the electric motor, between a peripheral wall 29 and an end part 28 of a rotor yoke 9, an inclined wall 43 is provided which rides over both of them and inclined to the inside in the radial direction toward the end part 28 from the peripheral wall 29, a plurality of drainage holes 44 in order to drain entering inside the rotor yoke 9 to the outside are formed near the peripheral wall 29 of the inclined wall 43, and the plurality of permanent magnets 42 are provided on the inner peripheral surface of the rotor yoke 9. The plurality of the permanent magnets 42 are arranged and installed so that the end part 42a in the shaft direction is located at the root part 43a of the inclined wall 43.
