SOLUTION: This image processor for setting a search area for searching the eyes from an image including the face and a pair of glasses, and for detecting the positions of the eyes from the search area is provided with: a face width calculation means for calculating the face width by detecting the face area from the image; a pair of glasses component detection means for detecting the positions of the pair of glasses components from the image; and a setting means isolated from the detected pair of glasses components for setting the search area so that the relative distance to the pair of glasses components can be made short or long according to the face width.
