Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible substrate for a liquid crystal display device, which is used for a flexible liquid crystal display device and allows a flexible color filter and a flexible TFT array etc. to be fabricated, and further has excellent dimensional stability. SOLUTION: The flexible substrate for the liquid crystal display device is characterized in that it has a base material composed of a heat-resisting resin with the glass transition temperature higher than 210°C and protective layers formed on both surfaces of the base material and suppressing the dimensional change of the base material.
