The long sink 1, the outlet 6 of which is provided at the downstream end of the discharge groove 5 so as to dispose of the raw garbage dropped thereinto, is concurrently used by a large number of persons in a company cafeteria etc. In the long sink 1, a space 7 near the outlet 6 is widely provided; a partition plate 10 equipped with an opening 11 for the passage of the raw garbage is provided in the space 7 in such a manner as to obliquely come across the sink 1 at a proper interval from an end of the dropping base 2; and a protector plate 12 for receiving a leading end of the foreign matter flowing into the opening 11 is provided in such a manner as to face the opening 11 of the partition plate 10.
