description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper wherein the surface thereof hardly get dirty and a part of a body to be molded hardly remains on the surface and the surface can be maintained in a purified state for a long time, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The stamper 51A comprises a stamper main body 52 having a projecting and recessed part 52a on the surface thereof and a photocatalyst substance layer 53 formed on the surface of the projecting and recessed part 52a. A photosetting transfer sheet 41 is disposed and superposed on the stamper 51A so that the surface of the photosetting transfer sheet 41 and the projecting and recessed part 52a are opposed to each other and pressed so that the photosetting transfer sheet 41 and the projecting and recessed part 52a closely adhere to each other. The photosetting transfer sheet 41 is cured by irradiation with UV from an upper part of a release sheet 42a. At this time, the projecting and recessed part 52a is also irradiated with UV. The stamper 51A and the release sheet 42a are then removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
