CONVEYER AND CONVEYING METHOD FOR STEP ROLL UNIT OF SINGLE FACER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyer 100 for a step roll unit capable of conveying a labor-savingly and efficiently the step roll unit of a single facer that is a large-sized structure of heavy weight. SOLUTION: This conveyer 100 for conveying the step roll unit of the single facer has a main body part for supporting the step roll unit, and a direction changing part connected to the main body part and for changing a direction of the main body part, the main body part has a step roll unit support means for supporting the step roll unit from its under side, the direction changing part has the first caster for moving the step roll unit support means, and the first caster support means for supporting pivotally the first caster, the step roll unit support means has a step roll unit floating-up means for floating up the step roll unit from a floor face, by supplying air into a sealed space formed with respect to the floor face, and the step roll unit support means is connected to the first caster support means to be relatively movable along a vertical direction with respect thereto.
