Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance performance of a channel estimator, and signal-to-noise-ratio performance of equalizer training algorithm to an arbitrary low Eb/No value (a value lower than a FEC code threshold is included). SOLUTION: A system and method for communicating includes a transmitter that transmits a communication signal having a plurality of successive frames, which are alternatively located so that N known data are symbolized as training symbols, and in which each frame is constituted with N known data symbols and M unknown data symbols. The communications signals are received within a receiver. The N known data symbols are synchronized at the receiver by correlating and time averaging the N known data symbols.
