description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a light quantity by making light vertically incident on each photoelectric conversion element in an imaging device. SOLUTION: A fluid lens is disposed on the upper surface of the solid-state imaging device including an on-chip lens 210, a glass layer 220 and the photoelectric conversion element 230. Two mediums A (120) and B (130) having mutually different refractive indexes are filled in the fluid lens. Electrodes 141 and 142 are disposed through insulating layers 151 and 152 in the fluid lens. The shape of an interface between the medium A (120) and the medium B (130) is changed in accordance with voltage applied to the electrodes 141 and 142. The application voltage is controlled in accordance with the position of a lens in a solid-state lens group 310, the angular velocity of the imaging apparatus and the ambient temperature of the imaging apparatus, etc., and the light from the object is made vertically incident on each photoelectric conversion element in the imaging device.
