SOLUTION: This coated film 16a with an adjusted coat thickness is manufactured by first, applying an excess amount of coating liquid 17 to the surface of a film 16 running continuously at a speed of 100 m/min or more and then, pressing a wire bar 22 formed by winding a wire 22b with 20 to 200 μm diameter around the outer peripheral surface of a columnar bar body 22a, to the surface of the film 16. In addition, the wire bar 22 is formed so as to have such a relationship established that the value of the diameter (μm) of the wire 22b/a gap (μm) between the wound wires 22b is higher than the value of 0.09 × application rate -6 (m/min).
