VIEWING AID FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing aid for vehicle, which suppresses negligence of forward checking during driving and can obtain an image that is sensuously easily understandable. SOLUTION: The viewing aid for vehicle includes out-of-vehicle photographing cameras 11a-11f, a driver photographing camera 12, an operating panel 13 (operation interface), an angle adjuster (angle adjustment interface) 14, an HUD 15 (window shield display) and a viewing aid ECU 20. The ECU 20 calculates the display position of a virtual side mirror on the HUD 15 in accordance with the operation of the operating panel 13. The ECU 20 performs image conversion on images photographed by the out-of-vehicle photographing cameras 11a-11f on the basis of a face position of a driver detected from an image photographed by the driver photographing camera 12 and a signal, from the angle adjuster 14, representing the mirror angle of the side mirror and displays the image as a virtual side mirror image on the HUD 15.
