Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an articulator which can accurately reflect the position of the lower jaw head of a living body without the use of a facebow with the conversion of the degree of movement of a rear wall and that of a top wall to the movement of an upper jaw model frame itself by the positional adjustment of a housing and the upper jaw model frame mounted on it vertically and longitudinally with the condylar sphares on both sides. SOLUTION: The condylar sphares 8 are positioned on both rear sides above a lower frame 2 where an upper jaw model is mounted and both sides of the housing 9 disposed at the rear part of the upper jaw model frame 10 are supported with the condylar spheres 8. The upper jaw model frame 10 is made rotatable vertically on the condylar spheres 8 and the housing 9 is provided with the top wall 15 which is made free to move vertically or fix in contact with the top surfaces of the condylar spheres 8 and a rear wall 16 which is made free to move longitudinally and fix in contact with the rear parts of the condylar spheres 8. The upper jaw model frame 10 is moved with an adjusting screw to enable the vertical and longitudinal positional adjustment of it with the housing 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
